The Business Development Manager (Ukraine) will be responsible for expanding Neros’ footprint in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. This role is central to building Neros’ reputation, securing business, and linking cutting-edge Ukrainian technology with our U.S. R&D teams. You will be tasked with identifying opportunities, executing sales, and positioning Neros as the premier FPV drone partner in Ukraine.
- Building and executing Neros’ engagement strategy with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, acting as the “front door” for all UA MoD interactions.
- Generating direct and indirect sales of Neros equipment to Ukraine, including through partner nations and donation mechanisms.
- Delivering flight demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and operator training packages.
- Representing Neros UA at trials, customer engagements, and key industry events in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
- Liaising with the EMEA team to capture and share operational feedback with European MoDs.
- Scouting opportunities to partner with Ukrainian companies to co-develop solutions and accelerate business growth.
KPIs (3–6 months):
- Official MoD letters submitted for existing “thousands-scale” unit requests;
- Funding pathways aligned (EU/donors);
- First deals launched and a steady pipeline/reporting cadence in place.
- Credible military experience in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, ideally operating sUAS or equivalent experience in Ukrainian Defence Procurement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FPV drones.
- Technical understanding of FPV systems: how they are built, tuned, maintained, and flown.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical complexity to senior military and government officials.
- Proven experience working in or with defence/military organisations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Ability and Willingness to travel across Eastern Europe for customer support, training, and trials.

- 3+ years’ experience in the defence industry, ideally in FPV.
- 3+ years’ experience working with Ukrainian Special Forces or partner nation Armed Forces.
- Strong network of Ukrainian military and MoD connections.
- Deep understanding of Ukrainian MoD procurement processes for sUAS.
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or related field).
- Track record of securing European donation funding for foreign defence companies in Ukraine.
- Office: Kyiv, Protasiv Yar (on-site; Ukraine travel; international travel as feasible).
- Contract: PE/FOP (bilingual contract).
