    Java 8 Developer for the upkeep | 3-4 Month Contract (Extendable) | Remote


About Us: 

MIF Projects is a leading software research and development company that delivers custom digital solutions for clients across various industries. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Middle Java Engineer to work with our team on a project in the charity domain. 



Project Overview: 

We are working on an existing product in the charity sector — a web platform that allows users to make both one-time and recurring donations to various charitable initiatives. The platform is already live and actively used.

Our current mission is to modernize the system and design an architecture that better supports the project’s growing needs. You will be involved in both the architectural evolution and feature development, collaborating with a diverse and dedicated team.



Responsibilities

🔹 What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and enhance an existing Java 8 application (Java EE, Git, Docker, GitHub Actions);
  • Work with basic SQL and a bit of Python;
  • Participate in architectural improvements and implementation;
  • Be part of a project that makes a real social impact 🌍
