We are looking for a highly skilled and mission-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technological vision and strategy of MilTech organization. The CTO will be responsible for driving innovation across defense technologies, managing advanced R&D initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of defense systems, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies relevant to national security.
- Define and execute the company’s long-term technology strategy aligned with defense and security objectives.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and R&D teams in developing cutting-edge MilTech products and systems.
- Oversee architecture design, secure infrastructure, and integration of advanced technologies (AI, robotics, autonomous systems, communication networks, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with defense standards, cybersecurity protocols, and government regulations.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, defense partners, and government agencies to translate strategic goals into technical roadmaps.
- Drive innovation through research, prototyping, and partnerships with defense organizations and academia.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for technology programs and product development.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, operational discipline, and continuous innovation.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and assess their impact on future defense capabilities.
- Successful delivery of key R&D and product milestones on time and within budget.
- Implementation of secure, scalable technology infrastructure that meets defense compliance standards.

- Proven leadership experience in senior technology or engineering roles (CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of R&D, etc.), preferably within defense, aerospace, or dual-use technology sectors.
- Strong technical expertise in systems architecture, software/hardware integration, cybersecurity, and advanced technologies such as AI, robotics, or autonomous systems.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives with long-term business and defense objectives.
- Experience in R&D management and bringing complex technologies from concept to deployment (TRL 1–9).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with government agencies, defense clients, and research institutions.
- Knowledge of defense compliance, data security, and export control regulations (e.g., ITAR, NATO standards, ISO 27001).
- Hands-on leadership — able to balance strategic vision with operational execution and team mentoring.
- Fluent in English (and Ukrainian is a plus) for coordination with international and local defense partners.
