- Design, implement & operate Monitoring Platform for cloud-based Applications
- Design, implement & operate Deployment Pipelines for cloud-based Applications
- Optimize existing Container Application Landscape & overall Cloud architecture
- Support in the Platform architecture for future projects
- Define elaborated Operations Concept for existing and future solutions
Core Technical Requirements
- Kafka Platform Operations (Experience with Kafka Connect, KSQL, KStreams, Flink and Schema Registry)
- Monitoring Stack: Grafana & Elasticsearch
- Kubernetes Operations
- Integration Application Operations (Monitor and operate the integration applications (java based) in Azure Kubernetes and also Azure Function Apps including incident management)
- Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments is required
- Azure Cloud Expertise (deploying and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), CNPG PostgreSQL server , and other Azure resources)
- Experience with Azure DevOps for setting up CI/CD pipelines and production deployments, with approval workflows involving multiple stakeholders
- Engineers participate in on-call rotations (L3), handle incident categorization, and manage status pages for outages and maintenance
- Monitoring dashboards and alerts are set up for critical components like Kafka, API Mngt., Azure Kubernetes service, Keycloak, APIs and integration applications
- Focus on incident reviews & resolution as well as critical platform health
Soft Skills & Collaboration
- Strong collaboration across teams is emphasized in integration and monitoring efforts
- Engineers are expected to contribute to documentation, onboarding, and knowledge sharing
- Structured problem-solving and proactive communication are key traits highlighted in both internal and external sources
