Kiss My Apps is a startup studio specializing in mobile-first product development.

Over the past year, the total MRR of Kiss My Apps products has increased х5. Our products now attract up to 2M new users per month, with a total audience exceeding 50M users.

Our portfolio includes 30+ web and mobile products across various categories: Utilities, Lifestyle, Health & Fitness, and more.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Android Developer to join KissMyApps team. 

Kiss My Apps is a Ukrainian startup studio specializing in the development of mobile first products.

Being a developer at KMA is not about doing incomprehensible tasks. It means active participation in product feature planning, development and interaction with other team members to improve the product with understanding what and why you are doing. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Android Developer to join KissMyApps team.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborating with the team to define, develop, and ship new features for AI Interior Design and Plant Identifier apps. Launching new products with a team.

2. Bug fixing and improving application performance.

3. Maintaining technical documentation.

  4. Analytical thinking to assess challenges and make data-driven decisions.

Hard Skills:

  1. 3+ years of experience as an Android Developer.
  2. Expert knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
  3. Strong knowledge of Android SDK.
  4. Confident use of Jetpack components for Android app development.
  5. Deep understanding of Jetpack Compose for modern user interface development.
  6. Solid understanding and application of OOP and SOLID principles.
  7. Knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
  8. Experience working with databases (SQLite, Room).
  9. Hands-on experience with multithreading, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and Channels for asynchronous programming.
  10. Understanding of reactive programming principles (RxJava, RxAndroid).
  11. Experience with dependency injection tools like Hilt, or Dagger 2.
  12. Understanding of client-server architecture and use of libraries likeOkHttp, Retrofit or Ktor.
  13. Experience with version control systems like Git and understanding of Git-Flow.
  14. Experience with Google Play Billing Library (a significant advantage).
