Summary
dForce is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead to spearhead autonomous UAV navigation software development. This pivotal role involves leading an engineering team, driving technical execution and quality, and coordinating efforts across Computer Vision, Embedded Systems, and Flight Software. Ideal candidates will possess 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python and C++ skills, and a robust background in AI, Robotics, or Autonomous Systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team.
- Run technical meetings and drive engineering decisions.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage engineering work in Jira.
- Break down product goals into technical tasks.
- Track execution and remove engineering blockers.
- Review code and ensure engineering quality.
- Coordinate Computer Vision, Embedded, and Flight Software development.
- Work with the CTO on architecture and technical strategy.
- Improve engineering processes and documentation.
- Mentor engineers and support technical growth.
Requirements
What we Expect
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.
- Strong Python and C++.
- Strong background in AI, Computer Vision, Robotics, or Autonomous Systems.
- Experience with Linux, Git, Docker, and Jira.
- Understanding of software architecture and scalable system design.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
