We are currently looking for a Process Engineer.

As a Process Engineer at Ark Robotics, you will play a central role in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enable efficient, scalable, and high-throughput assembly. You will ensure workflows are standardized, assembly stations are designed for performance, and production systems are ready for transfer to external partners during international expansion. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, cost control, and the companyʼs ability to scale globally.

1. Assembly Process Development & Optimization

Design and improve structured assembly workflows to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Establish ergonomic and efficient workstation layouts, tooling requirements, and material handling systems.
Introduce lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput.

2. Performance Measurement & Cost Control

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency, cycle times, and material utilization.
Support the development of cost-control strategies by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
Analyze production data to support decision-making on process enhancements and resource allocation.

3. Documentation & Scalability for International Expansion

Create and maintain detailed assembly instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure all process documentation is clear, consistent, and transferable to external OEM and EMS partners.
Collaborate with the Assembly Trainer and Production Lead to ensure alignment between documented processes and hands-on training.
Prepare the production environment for international scaling by ensuring standardization and repeatability.

Proven experience in manufacturing process design and optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on production efficiency and scalability.
Ability to develop comprehensive documentation to support standardized workflows and training.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process mapping, and workstation design.
Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) to track production metrics and material usage.
Effective cross-functional collaboration skills with teams including Production, R&D, and Supply Chain.
