Wantent is a Ukrainian startup, an AI-powered SaaS platform that analyzes viewers' emotions to help marketers create more engaging video content and gain deeper audience insights. We cooperate with video production companies, OTT platforms, TV channels, and advertising agencies. Understanding how the audience perceives content helps our clients make the right choice in creating or buying video products.
The team has developed its own AI models to recognize viewer reactions. They are the intellectual property of the startup. The models recognize such reactions as emotional facial expressions, blinking, hand movements, changes in body position, head, or gaze direction. All reactions are digitized and become metrics that allow us to interpret the viewer's interest.
Wantent aims to work according to the SaaS model. Although the startup is currently working with clients on a contract basis, it has already got its first customers using the subscription model. Our technologies can be integrated into other platforms and products. Therefore, one of the first tasks for the future Senior Front-End Developer is conducting a major refactoring of the existing SaaS platform at the initial stages, evaluating the current architecture, and offering a solution for a ready-made updated MVP.

- Drive the Frontend development focusing on building robust and scalable solutions from scratch.
- Independently analyze project requirements, define the implementation strategy, and oversee the end-to-end Frontend development process, from ideation to deployment.
- Ensure the Frontend application is responsive, fast-loading, and accessible across various devices and platforms, maintaining scalability to support an expanding user base.
- 5 years of experience in frontend development.
- Proficient with build tools like Webpack.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and state management libraries.
- Proficient in integrating Frontend systems with both REST APIs.
- Experience with design systems and developing reusable components.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools for effective collaboration with designers.
- Exposure to serverless architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
