We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who will play a crucial role in improving our internal systems, migrating to new technologies, and enhancing the usability of our internal tools. This role requires a technical background to deeply understand backend systems integral to generating over 1 million pieces of physical mail weekly and their interactions across various business functions.

This role will initially own the backlog, collaborating closely with stakeholders and system experts who will primarily drive prioritization. Later this or next year, we may hire a dedicated Product Owner based in the US with extensive expertise in US Mortgage and Operations, whom this role would collaborate closely with. Additionally, collaboration with existing Product Owners working on different projects within the company will be expected to ensure alignment and consistency across systems.
- Work daily with developers, QA, and architects to ensure alignment, effective communication, and clarity on requirements.
- Manage backlog, prioritize tasks, create user stories and technical tasks, and work closely with developers to estimate effort and timelines.
- Collect, analyze, and document requirements through effective communication with stakeholders.
- Work with support engineers to improve service delivery for the systems managed by this role.
- Become a domain expert by consistently engaging with internal users and stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities for system improvements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of current system architecture, dependencies, and limitations.
- Propose actionable solutions, drive improvements, and oversee the implementation of new features within existing systems.
- Collaborate with DocOps, architects, and developers in documenting technical systems clearly and comprehensively.

- Actively participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among teams. Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and demos, coordinating closely with stakeholders to validate solutions, gather feedback, and ensure successful implementation.
- Assist architects in planning and executing system re-writes and microservices transition projects, significantly enhancing system scalability, reliability, and maintainability, including timeline development and stakeholder communication.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong technical background, preferably with experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability and willingness to become a domain expert in Mortgage and Marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, detailed functional and non-functional requirements, as well as BA and technical documentation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Agile ceremonies.
