Radar Engineer Lead (Urgent Role)
We have an urgent opening for a Radar Supervisor / Lead with a U.S. client.
The role involves working onsite in Ukraine.
· Candidates from NATO countries are accepted (excluding the U.S.) and they will complete the initial training and onboarding in Poland
· Candidates from Ukraine will complete training locally, no need to travel to Poland
This is a leadership role, requiring the candidate to supervise and coordinate technicians at the facility.
Role Overview
· Type: Full-time (Monday–Friday), onsite. The standard is 9:00-17:00, it can be different if there is an urgent need.
· Location: Secure military base approx. 100 km from Kyiv (confirmed safe zone)
· Contract: 12-month renewable, with 3-month probation
· Employer: BrainSource (Ukraine), on behalf of a U.S. defense contractor
· Engagement: Civilian consultant (engineer role)

Compensation & Benefits
· Salary: 11,000 – 13,000 USD gross/month
· Up to 14,500 USD gross/month after probation (based on performance)
· Accommodation provided (basic standard; option to rent privately)
· Work permits arranged for non-Ukrainian citizens

Working Conditions
· Civilian, non-operational role (maintenance and repair only)
· The position is with a Ukrainian company, where the employee will be hired as a civilian consultant (engineer) working in support of a U.S. client.
· No direct operation of radar systems
· Work is conducted under safe and controlled conditions
· Daily schedule (Mon–Fri):
o Ukrainian candidates may commute daily or stay near the base
o NATO candidates will be accommodated near the base
Candidate Profile
We are open to candidates with:
· Military background (NATO / U.S.-aligned preferred), or
· Civilian experience in:
o Radar maintenance
o Civil aviation radar systems
o Electronics / signal systems repair
No strict years-of-experience requirement — profiles will be evaluated based on technical fit.

Key Responsibilities
· Supervise installation, calibration, and maintenance of radar systems
· Perform diagnostics and component-level repairs
· Ensure system readiness and compliance with safety standards
· Manage maintenance documentation and reporting
· Lead and train technicians (preventive & corrective maintenance)
· Coordinate inventory, repair cycles, and quality assurance
Одразу скажу, бо оцікую, що на таку зарплатню можуть подаватися ті, хто шось чув про радари, ті хто 30 років тому вивчав це в університеті, ті хто не можуть спілкуватися англійською, але думають шо "проканає". Одразу зважено оцінюйте себе,інтерв'юєри- люди серйозні. Потрібно 5 днів на тиждень жити близь Києва та забеспечувати обслуговування радарів, тому теж подумайте, чи буде у вас змога.
